GSM tracking uses Zimbabwe's mobile network (Econet, NetOne, Telecel) to transmit location data. It works well in urban areas and along major highways. Satellite tracking uses GNSS satellite communication — it works in areas with zero mobile coverage, including remote mines, farms, game reserves, and deep bush. If your vehicles operate in these environments, satellite is the right choice.
In Harare and Bulawayo, we typically complete installation within 2–3 business days of confirming your order. For other cities and rural areas, installation timelines vary — contact us for an estimate. Installation takes approximately 30–60 minutes per vehicle and is handled by our certified technicians.
Yes. Our International package is designed for cross-border operators in Southern Africa. The GPS + Satellite dual-mode option maintains coverage regardless of which country your vehicle is in. You can see all vehicles — local and cross-border — on a single dashboard.
The tracking device stores location data locally and transmits a batch update the moment connectivity is restored. You won't lose the route — there will simply be a gap in real-time updates while offline. For operations where that gap is unacceptable, the Satellite package eliminates it entirely.
Pricing is per-vehicle. Each vehicle gets its own subscription, so you only pay for what you have. You can add vehicles to your company account at any time, and each new vehicle follows the same billing cycle. This makes it easy to scale from 1 vehicle to 100+.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your company data is isolated — no other E-Road client can access your fleet's information. We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security enforced at the database level, not just the application layer. You can request a data export or deletion at any time.
